In support of our mission, ACAP offers core services to support family stability by removing barriers that prevent individuals from moving toward self-sufficiency.
Emergency Needs assists individuals in emergency situations to help them obtain the resources they need. Emergency Needs are also available for help with utilities, rent and/or security deposits, when no other assistance is available. Contact Cindy at 518-873-3207 Ext. 239.
Food shelves are located in 9 towns and the main office in Elizabethtown. Food shelves provide food baskets for the low-income, elderly and disabled in Essex County.

Holidays Are For Sharing
ACAP operates a holiday program to ensure that all children throughout Essex County receive gifts during the holidays. Though the support of the U.S. Marine Corps, Toys for Tots and donations from our community the program provides toys to an average of 600 children a year.
