The first weekend in May, ACAP Child Care held an event at WalMart in Ticonderoga in recognition of the Month of the Young Child and National Infant Day. Staff showed parents how to make inexpensive infant toys, using items that they may have at home or could purchase at a dollars store. For toddlers they showed them how to make and blow bubbles.
Children received a free age appropriate book and parents were given information on quality childcare.
